Since its start in 2013, it has become an event loved by both adventure and nature enthusiasts alike. The games themselves are split into two weekends: biking and running.
RUN Weekend
RUN Weekend is just that– a weekend of running! Explore the gorgeous terrain around the Green River with a variety of running events. The weekend completes a stage race, meaning there are multiple races over multiple days. Keep in mind that these races don’t take place on your typical paved running track, so you could be traversing over gravel or uneven terrain.
BIKE Weekend
If you are a biking enthusiast, make sure you’re in town for BIKE Weekend. There are multiple bike races throughout the weekend, so there’s something for everyone! If you like to go offroading, the GRG Mountainbike Enduro is for you. Athletes are timed in three downhill stages. The Alleycat Challenge is perfect for road bikers– there is a little bit of route finding so you can make it to each checkpoint before the end of the race. Lastly, the E-Bike Scramble is a five-lap short course for Class 1 Pedal Assist Bikes.
